Interval training

An interval clock alternates phases, but a useful session needs more than two numbers. This collection covers preparation, readable work/rest cues, repeat counts, and the point at which the final phase ends. The activity plan supplies the movement and intensity; the timer supplies a reference for its chosen timing.

Make the transition as clear as the work

Check whether a block includes rest after the last work phase, and account for equipment changes outside the preset. Rehearse the start, pause, and reset controls while standing still. If several people share the session, choose one operator and explain the interruption signal before beginning.

Use the articles below to organize a plan suitable for your activity. The available interval presets are examples of timing structures, not individualized exercise programs or official competition clocks. Change or stop the activity when circumstances require attention, even if the display is still counting.
