Privacy & local data

Understand what the timer saves, what stays in the current session, and how to remove your local summaries.

Using the timer

The on-page countdown, stopwatch, and interval controls run in your browser. This website does not include advertising scripts, analytics scripts, account signups, tracking pixels, or third-party font requests. Timer activity is not submitted to an InstaTimer application server.

Saved summaries

Choosing Save session stores the mode, elapsed duration, and saved timestamp in this browser’s local storage. Up to 50 summaries are kept. These records do not synchronize with another browser or device. The stopwatch’s individual laps remain in the current session and are cleared when the session is reset, its mode changes, or the page is reloaded.

Visit the session-log page to download a CSV copy or clear the saved summaries. You can also remove site data through your browser settings. If browser storage is unavailable, a summary can remain in the current page’s memory only; the interface reports that limitation.

Sound and permissions

Sound is off initially and can be enabled using the visible control. The website does not request notification permissions and does not send push, email, or SMS notifications. Guides about those channels explain their use rather than connecting to a delivery provider.

Website requests and external links

Your browser requests the pages, images, styles, and scripts required to display the website. The web host may retain routine server access logs as part of hosting operations. External sources linked from the guides operate under their own policies when you choose to visit them.

Email contact

The contact link opens your email application. Any message you choose to send includes the information you place in it and the addressing details handled by your email provider. Send questions about local data to [email protected].
