Give each saved summary enough context

A timer summary explains how a session was timed, while your notes explain what happened during it. Save the record when it answers a useful question: how long a rehearsal took, which preset supported a review or how much time an attempt used. Add the task boundaries and next action outside the timer. This keeps the log compact without asking the timing record to establish whether a particular result was completed successfully.

A practical way to begin

1. Finish the measurement clearlyPause or complete the session before deciding whether to save it. Check the displayed mode and duration, and keep any individual stopwatch laps you need while the current session is still available.
2. Save the useful summaryUse Save session to add the record to this browser’s history. In your own notes, describe the task, interruption rule and one observation that will help explain the result when you return.
3. Review before clearingInspect the saved summaries and download a CSV copy when needed. Check that you have preserved the useful information before clearing local history, especially when the browser or device is shared with others.

Connect a rehearsal total with an editing decision

After a stopwatch rehearsal, save the completed overall session and note that the central explanation needs trimming. Record any relevant lap readings separately before resetting. At the next attempt, use the same speaking boundaries and pause rule. The saved total shows the timing result, while the note explains why the next rehearsal changes one section instead of the entire presentation.
